Marit Hooijschuur is an Amsterdam based actor. In 2016 she gratuated from the Academy of Theatre and Dance.
She has worked with multiple interdisciplinary companies, such as NITE, NTGent and Frascati Producties. In 2021 she joined KONVOOI to create De Meester en Margarita, produced by Orkater.
Alongside Erasmus Mackenna and Roel Pronk, she was part of theatre collective LENZ. They produced the first Dutch staging of the renowned Anatomy of a Suicide by Alice Birch in 2025.
In 2019 Marit joined Theater Mooi Weer, a small theatre ensemble focused on staging big classical texts and modern repertoire in an intimate setting.
